There’s a few articles I feel I need to comment on regarding the revolution today, but only breifly, since it’s almost bedtime.

Release Date: Firstly, there’s an article over at DS Revolution, stating an official word that Nintendo plan to set the Revolution loose in the 3rd or 4th quarters of 2006. That means I have a year to save, but that it’ll likely be 18 months before I, or any of my countrymen see a native version. However, I tend to import my games since it’s cheaper and quicker. I’m eagerly anticipating the release and should I come into some cash, I hope to attend E3 next year to get a grasp on the controller.

Time Gives Props: Time Magazine has called the Revolution controller mind blowing. While it’s great to see the mainstream media getting excited about the controller, there’s been no practical gaming example of the system yet. As much as I think it’s a cool idea, I really want to see how it works before I proclaim the control scheme asuccess. (source: 1Up).
