Revolution Brain Control?

There’s been a bit of buzz on game blogs about the latest theory regarding the Revolution’s controller. Infendo sums it up nicely.

Mind control.

My opinion; no. Yes it fits the condition given by Satoru Iwata that the revolution is something that hasn’t been used in gaming before, but the current level of brain input is that of a monkey controlling a robot arm as an extra limb. Quite cool in it’s own regard, but the monkey had an array of electrodes implanted into it’s brain in order to perform this task. Plus it’s suitably advanced to be much too expensive to include as the control for a sub $200 device.

HCG rumour likeliness: 1/10 - Likely in bizarro land.
